			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h3>September is prostate cancer awareness month and the American Cancer Society recommends that men speak to their healthcare providers to make an informed decision. Men at average risk should receive this information beginning at age 50.  Men at higher risk, including African American men and men with a first-degree relative diagnosed with prostate cancer before 65, should begin at 45.  Men at appreciable higher risk (multiple family members diagnosed before 65) should receive this information beginning at age 40.  For more information about screening, please contact your American Cancer Society at 1-800-227-2345, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or visit <a href="http://www.cancer.org/">www.cancer.org</a>.</h3>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h3>The American Cancer Society’s Cancer Resource Network consists of three categories of resources – information, day-to-day help, and emotional support.  The Cancer Resource Network supports the Society’s nationwide priority leadership role to make high-quality, timely, and understandable information available, especially to newly diagnosed cancer patients and their caregivers.  Emotional support connects patients with others who have “been there”.  I Can Cope®<sup> </sup>is a series of educational classes given by doctors, nurses, and other experts to help people with cancer and those who love them understand what they are facing.  Some of the topics covered include pain management, cancer-related fatigue, and nutrition and physical activity.  Classes are offered online and at select locations.  In the Lehigh Valley, visit <a href="http://www.cancer.org/">www.cancer.org</a> to participate in online classes.</h3>
